Programming is the art of giving clear, ordered instructions to a computer to perform specific tasks. For instance, we use an operating system to run a personal computer. Within this environment, we use Word to write and format text or documents, PowerPoint to create presentations, Internet Explorer or Chrome to browse the web, and various software programs to process images, sound, video clips, and so on. All these applications are designed and created by programmers for specific purposes.
In this course, we will learn how to create small applications designed to solve simple problems.
