Technical english
This course is designed to develop Master’s students’ ability to use English effectively in the field of urban studies, urban planning, and urban development. It focuses on improving students’ technical vocabulary, academic reading, professional communication, and writing skills related to urban environments.
Throughout the course, students will engage with authentic texts, case studies, maps, planning documents, and research articles related to urban issues such as sustainable cities, transportation systems, housing policies, urban governance, and smart cities.
The course aims to help students:

Understand and use specialized terminology in urban planning and urban development

Read and analyze academic and professional texts in urban studies
